About Kim

Kim has been in practice for over 20 years with an extensive background in myofascial manual therapies, exercise rehabilitation and Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM).

Kim’s philosophy is that symptom-based treatments do not work; her unique assessment skills ensure hidden dysfunctions are remedied and not just temporarily covered up.  Kim has extensive experience with Olympic and professional athletes from around the world in various sports and has been compiling excellent case studies and research with her work with some of these athletes and their success with FSM.

Kim is the creator and director of FSM Sports and is the co-instructor of the Pain and Injury FSM Modules which provide training to physical medicine practitioners on the application of FSM in sports and rehabilitative medicine.

ABOUT FSM

Frequency Specific Microcurrent was developed by Dr. Carolyn McMakin in 1995. Microcurrent devices deliver frequencies and current in millionths of an amp and in published studies, has shown its ability to increase energy (ATP) production in cells by 500%. Just think what that alone can do….! Microcurrent itself dates back as far as the 1900’s, however, it wasn’t introduced as a battery operated physical therapy modality until the 1980’s. In the late 1990’s, it was clear that the effects of FSM were reproducible, seminars were taught, and FSM practitioners began to emerge worldwide.

When Kim isn’t busy helping people move better or teaching FSM courses, you’ll find her running, cooking and spending time with her husband and 3 kids (who are all athletes themselves!) in the Bay Area in California.
